Can’t access journal

I opened the day one app on my iPad today and a dialogue box pops up and says:
As a Basic user, your journal can be used on one device for free.
”Join Day One Premium to open your journal on all your devices.”
Then below it asks “Move your journal”
Your journal will be removed from iPhone and added to this device.
I don’t have the app on my phone anymore and this seems like it will step on my journals on my iPad if I do this.
How can I open my journal on my iPad again?

When using the free basic tier, you can back up one device to Day One Sync. Meaning, only one device can use Day One and sign in to the account at a time.

Your entries should be merged between the two devices, should you choose to transfer your content to your iPad.
