Calendar view feature request

When using calendar view, it’s nearly impossible to tell what day’s journal you’re looking at. The calendar is blue and the day you’re working with is a “blue on blue” highlight indistinguishable from the background. Can the highlight of the selected day be highlighted in a contrasting color to make it more visible?

    Thanks

That doesn’t sound like a good look at all. I’d like to investigate so we can improve this. Checking in on my own Day One app I’m not seeing the “blue on blue” that’s causing you trouble. Since I’m not finding it, I suspect your set up is a bit different from mine. Can you let me know the following?

    • what device you use Day One on that has the problem ‘blue on blue’ highlight
    • the device’s operating systems and versions
    • the Day One version on it
    • a screenshot of where the trouble colors are showing for you

With those details we can check in further to get the contrast more readable on the Calendar view.

In Dayone for Mac I don’t see this. But what I’d like to see is a button that, when clicked brings me to the current day (Today). Same for the iOS/PadOS versions too.
