Bring Beta AI to Mac App

  I love the new AI feature! It really helps create a polished entry from my random thoughts. I really want to be able to use this on my Mac app instead of needing to revert back to the web app when I’m on my macbook. Thank you!

  Also, if AI is integrated into the macOS version of Day One, please also have a setting to opt out or disable AI.

  Hi @melissafowler2000 — We’re actively working on bringing more AI Labs features to the Mac app. Several features, including Go Deeper, are listed as “Coming Soon” for Mac. We don’t have a specific date to share just yet, but it’s on the roadmap.

  @stevekoterski — Absolutely. All AI features in Day One are completely opt-in through Day One Labs. Nothing is enabled by default. You can toggle any feature off at any time. You can learn more about how privacy is handled with AI features in our AI Features FAQ.
