Behavior on Launch

  When I launch Day One, it opens to an old entry. I don’t know how it decides what day to open to, but it is never today, or even yesterday. I would like it to open to my most recent entry. Is there a way to control this behavior?

  Hi 👋 Is this happening in Day One on Mac?

  If so, this has been a known issue affecting some users, and we have had trouble reproducing it. We have some steps that should resolve this locally, though. 

  1. Close the entry by clicking the X at the top left of the entry. 
  2. Switch to the Timeline view. https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/journal-views-in-day-one-for-macos/
  3. Close the app
  4. Re-open.
