Automatically open the composer on app launch?

  I frequently use Day One as a quick thought logger. I’d find it easier to jot these notes with an option to automatically open the composer on app launch.

  That’s a great suggestion! What platform are you using Day One on?

  We have long-press options on both iOS and Android that allow you to immediately jump into creating an entry.

  This can also be done on Mac if you right-click/option-click on Day One.

  Below is what that looks like on iOS. A similar menu also shows on Android.
