When can we expect to see the Journal suggestions based on Appleks Journal API in Day One? After looking over the Journal app, the suggestions are really terrific. Thanks!

Hi, does the Journaling Suggestions API allow for additional information to be pulled in for workouts and Apple Music? I’d love to see my run routes and link directly to music I listen to in Apple Music in Day One similarly to how the Apple Journal app does now

I have updated to the latest version on iOS but I cannot see the “suggestion” button come up when I try to create a new post in Day One. Is this feature only available to Premium users?

Having done a bit of investigating I think I couldn’t see the suggestion button because I was using a template for my entries. As soon as I went to a blank entry the button was there.

Not all the suggestions are imported into Day One. Music, for example, is not imported into Day One. Would love to see that all the suggestions are being able to be imported.

Correction, one or two or three are possible, but if all music suggestions are selected, which is the default, the import does not work and the Day one entry stays blank.

@cblte Can you tell me a bit more? I just created a music entry with 6 songs and albums. I tend to write about music quite often, and I have used the suggestion many times, and it has created entries with more than three songs/albums included.
Can you tell me how you’re using that suggestion? How was the entry created?

@mwszpwwdhd were you able to find those suggestions? After upgrading, it can take a couple of days for those to be imported in Day One, but then they should be seen there regularly.
Are you still having trouble seeing the Suggestions?
