App Store screenshots inaccurate
-
The Mac and iPad screenshots in the App Store have very old (and much nicer) designs. The iPhone screenshots are correct though. Please stop misleading customers by showcasing a nice design that no longer exists.

Gotta say I agree. Sometimes I feel like developers go changing things in the UI just for the sake of changing something, which is never a good idea. Good design is timeless, and you don’t change things for “change’s sake”.

Perhaps, for those that dont like the new layout, they will have a settings toggle to enable/disable it like they did for the timeline layout.
Personally, I like it.

Thanks for letting us know the screenshots need updates! I’m letting the team know we need to make sure they are accurate ASAP

Please allow me to reminisce about the old version of iPad Dayone user interface in this thread. The large block of blue is similar to the feeling of looking at the sky from afar, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility, as if an old friend is sitting next to you, looking at the sky together, and talking about what happened today. The new user interface is only white. It’s like squeezing into the cubicle of a white-collar worker, hurriedly writing down today’s minutes, and then rushing off work.

@jeffcheongsg You’re not alone in wanting more color in the new redesign, and it’s something our team is taking into consideration as we improve upon our initial redesign.
I’m also following up with the team once again to see what we can do to get those inaccurate screenshots updated.

@boldwater8759 We’re currently updating the screenshots across various platforms, including the Google Play Store and our homepage website. We’re also making steady progress on the screenshots for the macOS app. Thanks for checking in!
