App opens to “All Journals” rather than my preferred journal

I have used Day One for many years, but over the last month or so, I have noted that about once a week, the app opens up to “All Journals” with all entries on the left rather than just the last journal or usual journal that I use. This did not seem to happen before and I am not sure what changed.
Is there a way to set my one, preferred journal as the default, so that that the app will always open to this journal by default?

Hi! The top journal in the journal settings is the “default” journal. Is this happening on a Mac, iOS device, or Android? Do you have the Basic, Plus, or Premium account status? Have you tried force-quitting Day One to see if that helps so that the next time the app is opened, it opens to the last journal used?

I have a PLUS account and am using iOS on an iPad with latest firmware and latest version of Day One. This has only started happening the last few weeks.
I have force closed the app frequently, but still almost daily find myself on the ALL JOURNALS page. I DO HAVE my default journal FIRST, but that does not stop it from changing to ALL ENTRIES.
