app not opening after being offloaded and restored

  My iphone offloaded the Day One ep after not using it for a while. When I reloaded it, the button on the phone looks normal, but when I tap it, it flashes an intro screen and then disappears. It doesn’t even get to the point of checking the settings, just POP and the open screen is gone. I checked the itunes store app on my phone and it’s Open. It doesn’t seem to need an update.

  Does anyone have a suggestion how to get it to open and be usable?

  Can you verify what version of Day One you currently have installed? It would also be helpful to know what version of iOS you have installed on your device.

  It won’t open enough to let me see Settings, so I went to the app store, which says Open, and is not prompting me to update. The IOS is 15.6. Thank you.

  I’m having a similar problem. I’ve been using the app for just over a year and it started updating three days and hasn’t finished yet

  i had the Same Problem tgemestates. Found a Solution, i just had to installieren the latent IOS Update. After that it worked.
