Feedback – can you please introduce an AI video/audio to text function please? It would be great to leave a video blog and also have the text and also the option to add a searchable text to all previous posts. With thanks. 🙏🏻

Audio-to-text transcription feature is available in our iOS app!
Audio recording
Transcribing your audio to text is limited to 10 minutes. The default can be enabled/disabled in Day One > Settings > Advanced > Transcribe to Text. Transcription is only available for audio recorded in Day One; imported audio files cannot be transcribed.
Keep in mind, the keyboard language will dictate the language that is transcribed. So if your keyboard is set to English, but you’re speaking French, then transcription will try to transcribe English. Make sure your keyboard is reflecting the language you are speaking for transcription to work properly.

To do this, follow these steps:
- Create a new entry.
- The keyboard will appear.
- Tap the microphone icon in the keyboard.
- NOTE: Apple requires that you be connected to Wi-Fi to use Voice Dictation.
That said, we currently don’t have a way to transcribe videos. I’ll go ahead and submit a feature request on your behalf.
