Adding “Quote Block” to menu bar under “Format”
-
Hi,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to add the “Quote Block” to the Menu Bar under “Edit > Format”? This option is only available after highlighting words using the cursor with DayOne’s own context options that sometimes doesn’t show up so I would have to use the cursor again to highlight the text again.
This is a clunky process for writing, especially when users have alternative options through LaunchBar that allows for indexing menu bar options that are indexed and can be called upon through the keyboard.
The other editing and formatting options are available under the menu bar, but quote block is not. Could this be implemented in future versions?
Thank you for the consideration!

Hello! We’d be happy to submit your request for this.
There is a keyboard shortcut you can use for Quote Blocks in the editor for Day One on Mac. If you type
>and then space bar, a quote block will be initiated.

I know this is old but is there a way to change the color. That light grey is horrendous, at least for me and an option to highlight the text with a different color would be great.

I’ve gone ahead and filed a feature request so that our team can consider making it possible to change the quote colour, as that is not possible right now.
