I deleted my account (meaning to delete all my data so I could bring it in again) and now I can’t get it back. Please help.

I tried creating a new account using my Apple ID, but it won’t allow me to create one. Since it’s associated with a Day One Premium subscription, I don’t want to create a new account with different information. If I can’t get my old account back, I would at least like to create a new one with the same Apple ID.

How to delete a Day One Sync account
This^ article says that it takes five days to delete the account. Does that mean that after 5 days I’ll be able to set a new one up with my old account information, or does that mean that after 5 days I will never be able to use Day One with that Apple ID again?

Hello there,
This means that after five days you can then use the previous email address or Apple ID info to set up a new account.
